I owe my early interest in photography to my father, who was a professional photographer and photo retoucher, as well as an air brush stencil artist I never sought to attain my father’s level of photographic expertise, but instead sought to create images that resonated with me through their composition. I’m glad that my photos have also resonated with many viewers who’ve seen my work in dozens of exhibits over the years.
Some of my photos have been described as "painterly,” which makes me happy since that acknowledges my attention to composition. A fair number of my photos are of nature, animals, statutes...and many are from my travels.
